Cool, what are you studying? Not much other than TAFE. Though I'll be looking for a job shortly.

It's gonna be my portfolio, so I can 'give them to could-be employers'. I'll put pictures up shortly (maybe even an animation if I can work out how to record the screen).

Yea, I do quite a bit of writing - most of it's at my ff.net account but I do have one piece of original writing on here. These days when I draw it's mostly original stuff.

Oh, man, I know what you mean. Though I procrastinate too much to stay away from fandom.

My Inuyasha ones? Non-existant. I have zero inspiration for them. I think the end of the anime killed me. It was shit.

Hahah, guessed as much. I mean, the ending of Harry Potter did me in from the fandom : |

New fandoms? Well there's this crazy novel-turned-manga called 1/2 Ouji or 1/2 Prince XD Basically it's around 2100 AD and RPG games by then are practically 99.9% life-like. What's great about this is that a girl, the protagonist, enters the game (because of her brother's constant sexist comments about how girls often have benefits in the games and how they're too afraid of pain to be Warrior class and all) as a warrior guy to prove herself that she could do better than her brother.

: | And she does, actually. The protagonist finds out that she has a violent streak and loves getting soaked in blood (even becomes famous and all). It's awesome because it (mostly the novel) tackles the restrictions society had placed on girls with how feminine they must be, disallowing them to 'become who they really are'.

Plus it's funny as hell because girls kept chasing her in the game XDDD

I know what you mean there too. I cried.

That sounds like .hack. In that a girl plays a male character, and s/he falls in love with another female character who also like her/him back. Though there wasn't too much symbolism and all that. The series gets quite complex and boring IMO.
